How to Boost Your Bedroom Confidence

While many of us are bold and experimentative in bed, there are just as many of us who are so weighed down by our personal insecurities that it tends to take over in the bedroom. Rings a bell? While we don’t promise that your bedroom confidence will grow over night, we have just the advice to help steer you in the right direction. If you are too shy and demure, these simple sex secrets will help you feel a lot more confident and become the sex kitten you could only be in your dreams, the woman that will drive your partner wild with desire!
1. Be confident about your body
Now this may seem like a trite remark; everyone tells you to love your body stating that’s the key to hot, mind blowing sex. But how do you do that? Fact is that most of us are stressing about things we don’t need to – your shape, your size, that extra flab around your love handles, your thinning hair etc. You spend time and money on finding the most attractive outfits and hairstyles that let you look desirable, and sometimes taking off the armour can be unnerving. It doesn’t have to be! Find some sexy lingerie that you ‘think’ you look hot in and model them around the apartment the night before. Make sure you turn and twirl in front of the mirrors till you are 100% satisfied with what you see. Now, instead of constantly wondering “Does he like what he sees?” the next day, you will be confident that he in fact loves what he sees!
2. Create the perfect ambience

To look and feel desirable, you need to make sure that you not only learn to disguise the flaws, but do it in a way that isn’t obvious. If you always insist on turning off the lights because you are embarrassed of your not-so-perfect body, it sends out a signal that you aren’t confident, and also makes you feel insecure. Instead, spend some time looking at the lighting in your bedroom and find ways to make it work in your favour! Get low flattering lighting that adds a sensual touch to your bedroom; there should be enough light to enjoy a good romp but not enough to see that cellulite on your butt! There are many other such tricks to try – darker bedcovers of satin along with light music and aromatic candles that heighten his senses of touch, hearing and smell are just a few ideas worth trying.
3. Get into a role
If you want to boost your bedroom confidence, one of the best ways to do that is to become a part of a story you know and love. Have a heroine in mind that inspires you? Try some role playing ideas; your guy is going to love the quirks it brings along and you will find that this heroine is uninhibited; ready to push past a lot of boundaries that you might have set, but she’s more than happy to break for the sake of sexual pleasures! Stepping outside your comfort zone will be thrilling and can make all the difference in how you feel about yourself.
4. Be honest about your bedroom preferences
Sometimes your confidence in the bedroom dwindles because you are trying hard to pretend that you like something you actually don’t.  And faking that self-assured vibe is actually hampering your bedroom performance, putting extra pressure on you. It’s time to stop! Have the talk and make sure your partner understands that you’re just ‘not that into it’ and be honest about your own bedroom preferences so that you don’t have to feel insecure anymore.
